Architect, developer and builder Mark Watts of Cedar Rydal Ltd has undertaken a newbuild low energy development of four houses in Bromley, Greater London. The development includes a terrace comprising 3 units as well as a detached house, all with 3 bedrooms.
The houses are now on the market through JDM. The houses achieved an airtightness level of around 2 air changes per hour and it was modelled in SAP with the aim of achieving an EPC rating in the range of A-B. The insulation strategy included installing insulation in the wall (220mm) , floor (130mm) and roof (400mm) and specification of 21°’s PERFORMANCE triple glazed timber windows and doors.

Mark specified 21°'s PERFORMANCE triple glazed timber tilt and turn windows, entrance doors and French doors for the project. The windows in the terrace also had interstitial glazing bars.
