01 - Introduction to Passivhaus
We will introduce you to Passivhaus methodology & standard, specification required to achieve Passivhaus certification as well as the importance of Passivhaus requirements for windows & doors and installation details. You will learn about MVHR, what it is and how to ensure optimal performance, see our airtightness product range & learn techniques to achieve Passivhaus requirements.
02 - High performance windows & doors
Topics that we will talk about within this CPD session includes high performance glazing, U values and G values, frame materials, Passivhaus requirements and optimum positioning of windows to minimise thermal bridging.
03 - MVHR heat recovery ventillation: why good design matters
You will discover exactly what is mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, why ventilation is so important and learn the different types of ventilation that are available. We'll discuss getting it right, the sound and pressure loss and the design principles for MVHR systems.
