Retrofit of a Yorkshire barn, creating a well-insulated home by creating a ‘box within a box’. Designed using Passivhaus principles and achieving an airtightness of 0.40 ach @ 50 Pa. Green Building Store’s triple glazed timber windows and doors, MVHR ventilation system and airtightness products were specified for the project.

Case study on the radical retrofit of a 1930s ex-council house in Manchester, resulting in EnerPHit (the Passivhaus standard for retrofits) certification. Green Building Store designed the MVHR system and supplied the ULTRA triple glazed timber windows and entrance doors for the project.
