To support the MVHR Department with administrative services.

Green Building Store is recruiting a Department Administrator to underpin the function of this busy department, working alongside a friendly technical team.  This is a new role, responding to increased demand for ventilation systems designed by the department.

This Department designs and delivers advanced ventilation systems (known as MVHR systems) for highly energy efficient houses and works with architects, builders and private house owners.  These systems are a key component of Passivhaus buildings.  Green Building Store is at the forefront of introducing Passivhaus products and design into the UK.  The MVHR Department currently consists of 7 people.

From an administrative perspective, the supply of these systems involves input of sales lines, invoicing and arranging despatch of the components in kit form.  We purchase the components from a range of suppliers.  We use SAGE Line 50 for our accounting and stock control systems.  No special technical knowledge is required, but a methodical approach and attention to detail is critical.

We are looking for an experienced administrator who has the skills and aptitude to grow into the role.  In house training will be provided as required.

Green Building Store is an innovative, ethical company with a friendly and creative working environment and a supportive team ethos, alongside an expectation of commitment and motivation.  Our offices are located in peaceful rural surroundings with free parking, reasonable transport links and a strong cycling culture.

Please note that Green Building Store expects team members to operate with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, once they are familiar with their role and have developed the competence to do so.
