In general we would always recommend the ES4 first, because of the totally leak-free flushing mechanism. Where the ES4 is not an appropriate choice, a carefully maintained Universal offers exceptional water efficiency. The Universal is widely installed in Scandinavia, and is fully approved there. Currently, however, it is not approved for installation to the mains water supply in the UK. It can be legally installed to private water supplies.
