Tax relief on sustainable water technologies
The Water Technology List, developed and managed by Defra and the
Inland Revenue, in partnership with Envirowise, can help UK businesses
save money in the short and long-term by encouraging them to invest in
technologies and products that reduce water use and improve water
quality. In conjunction with the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA)
scheme, this allows businesses to write off 100% of investments in
qualifying technologies and products against tax in the year of
investment. The ES4 WC, available from Green Building Store, is a
qualified product in Efficient Toilet category of the Water Technology
List.
