Ventilation (MVHR)
Comfort ventilation (also known as Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) is an essential part of Passivhaus building design. MVHR conserves energy by recovering heat from extracted air and transferring it to the incoming air. This works both ways so if the outside temperature is higher than
inside the exchanger helps to maintain a comfortable internal environment. An MVHR system ensures high air quality whilst maintaining a balance between extraction and supply.
Green Building Store is sole agent in England and Wales of PAUL Comfort Ventilation Systems. Central to PAUL's ventilation system is the patented counter flow heat exchanger, which is one of the most efficient on the market and can offer exceptional heat recovery of up to 92%.
