Thermal performance
Thermafleece EcoRoll contains 75% British sheep's wool, a sustainable and functional fibre with unparalleled insulating properties. Combining this wool with 15% recycled polyester provides a versatile compressed insulation with thermal performance equal to or better than many conventional materials. Thermafleece EcoRoll has a thermal conductivity of 0.039 W/mK.
Versatile
Not only does Thermafleece EcoRoll provide excellent thermal insulation, it can be used in many acoustic applications. It acts in sympathy with your property absorbing many indoor air pollutants and helping control humidity levels.
Long lasting
In order to ensure consistent thermal performance, it is important that insulation regains its thickness when unrolled and retains its shape throughout its service life. Thermafleece EcoRoll contains a lofting agent to maintain durability, fibre stability and structural inegrity creating a long-lasting insulation.
Reduced transport costs
Thermafleece EcoRoll’s convenient compressed form reduces transport impacts by more than 50% compared to other natural insulations. Once unpacked, it regains its original thickness to provide excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
Safe
Thermafleece EcoRoll is safe to handle without the need for personal protective equipment. It can be recycled or safely disposed of at the end of its life.
Moisture & temperature control
The hygroscopic nature of wool fibres means that Thermafleece EcoRoll can act in sympathy with buildings to control internal moisture levels and contribute to a more stable and comfortable indoor environment. When the wool in Eco Roll encounters moisture it is capable of releasing and absorbing heat. Wool releases heat when it absorbs moisture and absorbs heat when it releases moisture which can have a stabilising influence over air temperature.
Fire resistance
Thermafleece EcoRoll complies with BS 5803-4, achieving results of zero for ignitability, spread of flame.
