There are many suppliers of MVHR comfort ventilation systems in the UK. Green Building Store specialises in systems for ultra low energy/ Passivhaus buildings. We do not aim to supply units for more conventional standards of building, as our particular expertise is at Passivhaus level. However, at this level, the requirements for these ventilation systems are a little different, as this Guide to Specification outlines. We believe that it is vital that systems are designed by those who fully understand the requirements for systems at this level of performance.
Green Building Store works with manufacturers to supply Comfort Ventilation units that are both extremely quiet and are of the highest efficiency and reliability. Our units are at present the only ones available in the world to have both certification under the Passivhaus Institut in Germany as well as listing in SAP Appendix Q. For those working to the Passivhaus standard, or using the Passivhaus Planning Package to model their building, this is a real advantage. In fact, one of our units has the highest level of efficiency of any tested and listed by the Passivhaus Institut, while being in the top rank of those listed in Appendix Q.
