Thermal-bridge-free connection certified by the German Passivhaus Institut, Alu2wood windows & doors are ideal for Passivhaus and ultra low energy buildings.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
Alu2wood has a whole window Uw value of 0.77 W/m2K and glazing Ug value of 0.6 W/m2K. Warm edge spacers and wood fibre frame insulant are used to minimise thermal bridging through the windows and doors.
NATURAL MATERIALS
Alu2wood uses natural materials such as wood fibre and sheep's wool to insulate the timber frame. Natural plant-oil based finishes are used to treat the timber part of the frame.
LOW MAINTENANCE
Alu2Wood utilises an aluminium outer frame to help keep maintenance to a minimum.
