Location
Green Building Store is based in the picturesque area of Bolster Moor in the hills above Huddersfield, set in the rural Yorkshire Pennines.
Although we do not have a shop as such (apart from a 'virtual' one!) we do welcome visitors wishing to view our product showroom or to see our workshops or wanting an informal chat with a member of our technical team about a project. Certain products (eg water-saving sanitaryware, insulation, airtightness products) can be bought and collected from our offices. We always recommend that visitors ring ahead (Tel: 01484 461705) first to either make a appointment, to ensure we have staff available to discuss your project, or to ensure we have the items you wish to purchase in stock.
By road
SATNAV - use postcode HD7 4JR to find us (then take cobbled road behind pub and down to Mill)
Public transport
Huddersfield train station - then take 303 Scapegoat Hill bus from Huddersfield bus station to Golcar Lily pub (Bolster Moor). 5 minute walk down cobbled Heath House Lane to Heath House Mill. 303 bus runs hourly.
Slaithwaite train station - then get a taxi to Heath House Mill, Bolster Moor [Slawit & Golcar taxis 01484 847222]

Cycling
Despite the hilly terrain, we would also recommend cycling to visit us, as the area offers lovely scenery and quiet roads. We can offer cycle storage area and shower facilities (water-efficient!) if needed. If you are coming from a distance, cycling from Slaithwaite train station is definitely a viable option.
