Ecoplus3 comes with argon-filled triple glazing as standard, offering whole window U values as low as 0.86 W/mēK. Ecoplus3 also achieves an A rating under the BFRC scheme.
FSC CERTIFICATION
Ecoplus3uses FSC Pure timber - in either oak or pine. Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) Pure 100% certification is your guarantee that all timber is responsibly sourced. FSC is the only global certification scheme endorsed by all major environmental NGOs and the UK government.
NATURAL TIMBER FINISHES
Hand-painted with OSMO timber finishes, which harness the natural protection of plant
oils to penetrate
deeply into and bond with the timber surface, giving exceptional
durability and making maintenance and repainting incredibly easy as
there is no peeling, cracking or blistering. The OSMO finishes mean
that Ecoplus windows & doors can be easily touched up by applying
an extra coat, without the need for sanding and laborious preparation
BORON TIMBER TREATMENT
Pioneered by our company in 1995, the pine Ecoplus3 range is treated with inorganic boron-based mineral salts. As well as being highly effective against blue stain, rot and mildew, borates are widely recognised as the safest and most environmentally benign treatment available.
ENGINEERED TIMBER
Our timber is engineered using the latest lamination and finger-joint
technology. This not only meets our exacting performance standards but
also optimises the use of timber and reduces our impact on this natural
resource.
HIGH PERFORMANCE DESIGN
Enhanced weather and air tightness in windows and doors is critical both for comfort and reduced CO2 emissions. A 'Registered Design' at the Patent Office, our new flush profile not only has a contemporary look but features the latest European advances in design and performance.
WARM EDGE GLAZING TECHNOLOGY
Conventional metallic spacer bars result in heat loss and condensation at the edge of the glazing unit. All Ecoplus3 windows and doors are supplied with warm-edge spacers as standard, offering a true 'warm edge' solution - the perfect complement to our advanced glazing systems.
