ALUMINIUM-CLADDING
Aluminium cladding is a weather-resistant option for buildings where maintenance is an issue. Virtually maintenance-free, the cladding on our Ecoclad windows and doors normally requires no painting and only minimal upkeep.
SECURED BY DESIGN
Ecoclad is made to the same specification as Ecocontract range but with aluminium cladding. Hardware security for the Ecocontract windows and doors range has been independently tested and accredited by the Secured by Design scheme (SBD). SBD is a national police initiative to ensure crime prevention measures are incorporated into buildings.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
Our advanced double and triple glazing systems feature ‘soft coat’ low
emissivity coatings and argon gas fill, which, combined with true warm
edge spacer technology as preferred option, result in whole window U
values ranging from 1.4 – 0.9 W/m2K. Rigorous independent testing has
also shown that our windows and doors meet the highest performance
levels of BS6375 and PAS 023/024. This means that with Ecoclad windows and doors, high performance comes as
standard.
DURABILITY
Our timber windows are highly durable. Full factory finish, even on hidden surfaces, with the most technically advanced microporous paints and stains, combined with leading-edge design makes them among the most durable available. For a virtually maintenance-free option, our Ecoclad range offers the additional protection of aluminium cladding for ultimate weather resistance.
FSC CERTIFICATION
Timber is
the natural resource if it is sourced from well managed forests.
Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) Pure certification is your guarantee
that all timber is responsibly sourced. FSC is the only global
certification scheme endorsed by all major environmental NGOs and the
UK government.
ENGINEERED TIMBER
Our timber is engineered using the latest lamination and finger-joint
technology. This not only meets our exacting performance standards but
also optimises the use of timber and reduces our impact on this natural
resource.
SUPPLY & FIT
Green Building Store offers a fitting service which is accredited with both FENSA and Constructionline. We can fit everything from single houses to social housing developments. The service is available for most
areas of the UK, dependent on contract size.
