CSH - specification
The Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG) launched the Code for Sustainable Homes in 2006 as a new national standard for sustainable design and construction of new homes. Since May 2008 the developer of any new home in England must have a mandatory rating against the Code. All social housing projects funded by the Housing Corporation are required to work to at least Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) level 3.
Green Building Store offers a range of products that are ideal for specifiers and developers working to CSH requirements.
Green Building Store's water-saving products (including WCs, taps, showerheads etc) can help specifiers achieve the water-saving requirements of CSH 5-6 without the need for greywater/ rainharvesting systems.
