Building Regulations - specification
Building regulations exist principally to ensure the health, safety, welfare and convenience of people in and around buildings, and the water and energy efficiency of buildings. The regulations apply to most new buildings and many alterations of existing buildings, whether domestic, commercial or industrial.

We are committed to promoting buildings with as low an environmental impact as possible. The Building Regulations represent the statutory minimum to which buildings can now be constructed. We advocate standards far in advance of those in these Regulations and would encourage everyone to work beyond these standards. All of our products significantly exceed the requirements of the relevant part of the Regulations.
