Finishes Unlike normal varnishes, our clear woodfinishes contain natural oils which penetrate wood deeply. Some variation of finish can therefore be expected, depending on the degree of absobancy.
Polyx (Hard Wax) Oil Polyx Oil is the original Hard Wax Oil, formulated from natural oils (sunflower, soya and thistle) and selected waxes. Ideal for finishing hardwood and softwood floors, Polyx Oil is extremely tough and hard-wearing. Independent test in Germany (DIN68861-1C) have shown that it is also highly stain resistant, even standing up to wine, tea and fruit juices. Renovation of Polyx Oil finished floors is particularly easy, as only the worn areas need retreating, while the maintenance products
can keep your floor in good condition for years.
Polyx Oil is also excellent for all internal timber surfaces. Some tropical hardwoods such as Jatoba, Meranti and Merbau need priming with Wood Wax Clear Extra Thin. One of our best sellers, Polyx Oil is exceptionally easy to apply and maintain. It's high coverage also makes it surprisingly cost-effective. Both satin and matt finishes are available. 0.75L, 2.5L
Natural Water Based Varnish solvent free Natural water based varnish is virtually odourless and very easy to use. We particularly recommend it for woodwork around the home which is not going to receive the heaviest wear. For ease of use and ecological sensitivity, though, you can't beat this. Priming may be required on some timbers. Satin finish. 0.75L

Hard Floor Wax A solvent based formulation of natural waxes and tree resins, with a lovely citrus aroma. Polishes up to a really hard wax finish on floors and panelling. Bare wood and cork need priming first. 30 - 70m2/L 1L

CLEAR OIL WOOD FINISH
A clear, satin wood finish for exterior and interior application with a great variety of uses. It is based on natural oils and micro-porous, therefore it will not crack, flake, peel or blister. . The smooth, silky surface will not water mark, dirt can easily be wiped off. It is moisture regulating and reduces swelling and shrinking of the wood.
It is equally well suited for all wood species and qualities, new or old, rough or smooth, for interior as well as for exterior use (it is weather resistant but offers no UV-protection - use products such as one-coat only for this). It is very easy to apply, and will not dry during application even in high temperatures (no brushmarks).
