'Sustainable supplier of the year' finalist

It was announced today (Monday 5th October) that Green Building Store has been shortlisted in the Sustainable Manufacturer or Supplier of the Year category for the 2009 UKGBC Sustainability Awards. The Awards, organised in conjunction with BUILDING magazine, will take place on Tuesday 24th November, 2009 at King's Place in London, as part of the UK Green Building Council conference 'Making Sustainable Development Happen'.
Green Building Store's award entry centred on its promotion of Passivhaus design and recent launch of Passivhaus products range into the UK. Green Building Store's construction division is currently pioneering Passivhaus construction methods for cavity wall construction at the Denby Dale Passivhaus, subject of BUILDING magazine's Passivhaus Diaries.
Green Building Store Director Bill Butcher will be attending the awards and is delighted to have been shortlisted; "Being chosen as a finalist for the Sustainable Manfacturer or Supplier of the Year Awards is a great honour and a sign of how far Green Building Store has come in the last few years".
