Sponsored bike ride completed!

Dated: 29/09/2010

Chris Herring, Chair of the AECB and Green Building Store Director, has completed his sponsored bike ride from Huddersfield to the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) to mark the 21st anniversary AECB conference, which is being held on 1/2 October 2010. Chris is hoping to raise money for the charity Practical Action while also celebrating the 21st anniversary of the AECB - the sustainable building association.

On arrival Chris posted the following:

"We arrived in Machynlleth just after 5 pm today, having been met  by a posse (well two actually) of cyclists from CAT a few miles out, which was great.  I've done just over 160 miles and fellow AECB Trustee, Peter Wilshaw, who has been with me the last couple of days has done 110.  Peter is raising money for the Nepali Childrens Trust.  A bit saddle sore, but otherwise both OK.  Although I've finished, do still sponsor me, as the need has not gone away."

Please help Chris raise £3000 for Practical Action - sponsor him today!
