Green Building Store's Natural Paint Collection has been recently updated to include a range of exciting new shades. With bold contemporary colours such as orient red and olive, the new interior satin and gloss shades are already proving a hit with customers, who want to use natural paints over synthetic products. All products in the Natural Paint Collection are based on simple raw materials and include ingredients such as woad extract, bergamot oil and linseed instead of the usual cocktail of petrochemicals found in most conventional paints.
The mail order and online Natural Paint Collection has been available from the Green Building Store since 2001. As well as natural emulsions, gloss paints and varnishes the catalogue also includes timber preservatives, primers, sealers, thinners and garden treatments which are safer and more pleasant to use than typical off-the-shelf products.
Most of the products in the Natural Paint Collection are from two specialist German paint manufacturers, BIOFA and Ostermann and Scheiwe. As well as being based on natural ingredients, the paints in the Natural Paint Collection have also been selected because they are highly durable and give excellent coverage. Products from the collection have already been successfully used in schools, hotels, and private homes across the UK.
