Green Building Store wins Green Apple!

Green Building Store has just been honoured at an award ceremony at the House of Commons with a prestigious Green Apple award. In recognition of its contribution to sustainable construction, Green Building Store came National Runner Up in the Building Products category of the Green Apple Environment Awards for Commerce & Industry 2003.
The Green Apple Environment Awards took place at the House of Commons on Thursday, November 6th, 2003 and were hosted by the Rt. Hon. Patricia Hewitt MP, Secretary of State for Trade & Industry. Chayley Collis, Green Building Store’s Press & Publicity Officer went down to collect the award on behalf of the company. According to Chayley, “The Green Apple award is a recognition of all the hard work and dedication Green Building Store has put into developing safe and sustainable alternatives to conventional building products. We are very proud of our Green Apple Award and our long-standing commitment to the environment.”
