Ecoplus® System Solar Spaces

Our solar spaces include bespoke conservatories and purpose made glazed areas integrated into the building fabric. Our unique environmental specification and outstanding thermal insulation values offer exceptional design opportunities for the discerning conservatory specifier as well as for more unusual glazed spaces.

All Ecoplus solar spaces incorporate Iplus gas filled glazing units, offering Centre Pane U values of 1.2 w/m2k* for double units, or even 0.5 w/m2k* for the top-of-the range Krypton filled triple units. Iplus not only offers outstanding thermal performance, but superior light transmission and optical clarity in comparison with other Low-E glazing systems.

Solar control
Solar spaces on southerly aspects can suffer from excess solar gain during the summer and consequent overheating. To help with this, we offer Ipasol solar control glazing, reducing solar gain, but offering the same excellent thermal performance as IplusS.

Roof vents
To avoid the use of environmentally damaging PVC, the optional roof vents fitted to our solar spaces are made of aluminium, in a choice of polyester powder-coated options.

Guttering
All solar spaces are normally supplied with Lindab galvanised steel guttering, in a range of colour options.
