Green Building Store will have a stand at the EcoBuild 2008 exhibition, which is in Earl's Court, London from 26th-28th February. Ecobuild is the UK 's only event dedicated to sustainable design and construction. It attracts hundreds of suppliers of green building products and services and brings together professionals from all parts of the construction sector.
The Ecobuild exhibition and conference is aimed at Weveryone involved in the creation and delivery of policy and regulations, and any aspect of architecture and design, engineering, planning, surveying, development and construction. Visitors can meet hundreds of suppliers, view thousands of innovative products and attend an extensive range of conference and seminar sessions taking place during the three days of the event.
To complement the conference there are also a number of attractions, including the zero carbon house and solar city. Relevant experts are available throughout, to provide advice and information on all aspects of green building. There will also be an arena for daily debates, speeches, discussions and interviews. This is completely free to take part in and will feature commentators from the built environment and beyond, including Wayne Hemingway and Janet Street-Porter.
Conference modules this year include making micro-renewables work, the road to zero carbon, water wise and sustainable refurbishment, with eminent speakers such as Yvette Cooper, Housing Minister, Maxwell Hutchinson, former RIBA president and Will Alsop, founder of SMC Alsop.
