AirflushWater-saving holidays!
- Caravan Park leads the way with water-saving technology.

A caravan park near Bath is leading the way in water conservation, by opting for the latest AIRFLUSH® waterless Urinal System technology. To help preserve precious water resources, and to save money, Newton Mill Caravan & Camping Park in Bath has installed 5 AIRFLUSH® Urinals in two of its toilet blocks. The AIRFLUSH® Urinal works without the use of water or expensive cartridges, oils and matts, using instead a hygienically-designed bowl and low-energy fan, wafting away any unwanted odours etc.

Keith and Louise Davies, proprietors of the 90 caravan and 105 tent pitch Park, have found that the AIRFLUSH® System has helped save both water and money, while also working efficiently and reliably. Moreover, there have not been any problems reported with the AIRFLUSH® Urinals on the site and the urinals have remained clean and odour-free.

Newton Mill Caravan & Camping Park's commitment to water-saving and the environment has been rewarded with a David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. Approximately half of the 42-acre site is made up of woodland and valleys and part of the land has been earmarked as a nature conservation area. The millstream, which runs through the Park, is unpolluted and clean and acts as an amenity for the local community, as a site for trout fishing. In addition, a SUSTRANS cycle path runs close by the park and visitors to the Park are encouraged to use the path to cycle into Bath and onwards through pretty countryside to Bradford-on-Avon.
